“One of my favourite methods is for touring with any free powder, like Laura Mercier’s Translucent powder. I will put a work of tissue paper or Saran Wrap between the lid and the powder-basically, screw on a tissue between the part and the lid. That means if it breaks or falls, it is safe. I will do the similar with the rest liquid. Just put a work of Saran Wrap over the outlet of each and every liquid product and screw the cap on.
Another trick I like is to make use of pillboxes to decant my lipsticks or cream cheek merchandise and create my very own little palette to take at the move. Muji has bins that are ideal for this. I will take all my lipsticks which are all the way down to the stub so they do not move to waste—they are easiest as a result of you need to scoop out the product to make use of it anyway. So, scoop the remainder product out and simply create your personal lip-and-cheek palette.
When touring I generally tend to hold extra pencils than I do palettes as a result of they are mild and compact and are much less prone to wreck for your bag. Eyeliners, lip liners, eyeshadows. I stay a sharpener in a bit pouch within my make-up bag to stay shavings from spilling.
Lastly, I all the time commute with a multi-purpose cream like Weleda Skin Food-you can apply it to your face, your frame, as a highlighter or combined along with your precise highlighter. I will combine it with concealer and use that as basis. It’s like an all-in-one.”
